The Management of Ada College of Education officially expanded its workforce on Monday, 1st September 2026, by welcoming five newly appointed non-teaching and administrative staff members into the college community.
The new cohort brings a diverse range of expertise to key departments across the campus:
The Registry organised an orientation session to acquaint the new staff with the College’s operations and to underscore the interdependence of the various non-teaching units in advancing the institution’s mandate
In his opening remarks, the Registrar, Francis Prince Ankrah, Esq., urged the new entrants to embrace cooperation, teamwork, and a shared commitment to service. He emphasised that the college’s effectiveness depends on collaboration across units rather than rivalry.
Heads of non-teaching Departments and Unit leaders or their representatives outlined their respective functions, including administration, audit, finance, procurement, stores, estates, security, and health services. Each presentation highlighted the unit’s role in sustaining efficiency, accountability, and a safe working environment.
The Principal, Prof. Prince Boateng, concluded the session with an exhortation to serve with diligence, confidentiality, and innovation. He assured the new staff of their formal introduction to the Governing Council, Convocation, Academic Board, and Staff Durbar at the start of the new academic year in October 2026.

Samuel Edumund-Edumadze, Head of Security; Ms. Agartha Badu, Senior Administrative Assistant; Mr. Joshua Tetteh Teye-Abrantie, Senior Stores Superintendent; Mr. Samuel Doe Mensah, Principal Procurement Assistant; Mr. Ernest Bediako, College Nurse; and Ms. Jemima Ortimpong, Clerk and concluded with prayers led by Mr Emmanuel Cobbina, Principal Technician, and Ms Doris Anim, Chief Library Assistant.
In related developments, management confirmed ongoing discussions with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for the recruitment of three additional academic staff with PhDs in physical education and visual arts (painting & sculpting, ceramics).
