Ada College of Education invites applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment into the underlisted teaching and non-teaching staff positions in the College:
A. TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS
1. Visual Arts
Ceramics (1)
Painting and Sculpting (1)
2. Sciences
Physical Education (1)
Qualifications and Experience
- PhD in the relevant subject area; OR
- MPhil in the relevant subject area with evidence of ongoing PhD work.
- A Teacher Education Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is
- compulsory.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
- Evidence of research and publications will be an advantage.
- NON–TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS
1. Junior Assistant Registrar (2)
Qualifications
- Advanced (second) degree in Business/Public Administration or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Internship or prior work in a college or cognate institution will be an advantage.
2. Accounting Assistant (1)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be computer literate and conversant with relevant accounting software.
- Internship or prior work in finance departments will be an advantage.
3. Guidance and Counselling Officer (1)
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
- Internship or supervised practicum in counselling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of developmental psychology and counselling techniques.
4. Junior Assistant Registrar Medical Diagnostic Scientist (1)
Qualifications and Experience
- A 4-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Medical Laboratory Science from a university accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). OR
- A 6-year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.D) degree.
- Completion of a 1-year National Service / clinical internship at an approved hospital facility.
- A passing score on the professional licensure examination conducted by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Ghana.
- A current, valid PIN and annual practicing license issued by the AHPC.
- Registration with the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS) is highly expected.
MODE OF APPLICATION
