The Management, Staff and Students of Ada College of Education in partnership with Koforidua Technical University (KTU) and other Stakeholders hosted the 2023 National Youth Mentorship Summit. The Programme was an initiative of the Principal of the College, Prof. Prince Boateng.
As part of the programme, the final year students and staff from Ada Senior High, Ada Senior High Technical, and Ada Technical Institute attended the programme. The programme, which took place on Monday, 3rd July, 2023, saw over five hundred participants. In his opening address to the participants, Prof. Prince Boateng welcomed all participants to the programme, and encouraged all to be active participants in order to derive the full benefits from their attendance.
The programme introduced the participants to
- Various Platform of Financial Independence
- Means of Personal Savings; no matter how little
- Creating and Maintaining Connections (Business Networking)
- Self – branding for brighter future
- Setting Personal Goals/ Objectives
- Managing Communication
At the end of the summit, the participants expressed their joy and appreciation that they gained enough relevant skills, knowledge and experiences from the topics discussed at the summit.
Ecobank Ghana Limited, the main sponsors of the programme use the opportunity to open express accounts for both staff and students, and issued visa cards for all who needed them. Certificates of participation were also given to some participants.
The programme, which began at 9:00am ended at 2:00pm.
