Ada College of Education is serious about research and innovation, and that means providing serious support to researchers and innovators, whether they are only just starting out, are already making a name for themselves nationally or are well-established scholars in the College.
The Unit coordinates the activities of Level 300 student teachers’ action research orientation, allocation, supervision, and assessment.
The Unit is also responsible for encouraging writing and publication of articles in peer review papers. In line with this, the Unit organizes workshops to update staff’s practices so that they can produce scholarly works for publication. The Unit also edits articles of members of staff.
The team responsible for building and strengthening the College’s research community is Research, Publication and Project Work Committee. The Committee is made up of committed members from all six academic departments—Languages, Mathematics and ICT, Education, Science, Social Science, and Vocational Technical.
Through the Committee’s research activities, the College contributes to the knowledge and information society, advances development, nurtures a critical citizenry and ensures sustainability.
